I'm dealing with a bit of a heat issue in my room because of my bulky Acer PC. After about half an hour of gaming, it turns my space into a sauna! My air conditioning isn't really helping since the thermostat is in another room. In the winter, I could open a window to cool things down, but it's summer now and I can't do that. I'm considering getting a standalone AC unit that would vent out through my door since my window setup doesn't allow for typical air conditioning units. I'd love to hear any other suggestions or solutions that have worked for you.

Honestly, one of the best solutions is to decentralize. If you can’t get the heat out effectively with fans or AC, consider moving your PC to another room entirely.
If you can, consider undervolting your CPU and GPU. It could help reduce the heat output a bit. Otherwise, an AC unit might really be your best bet. Also, cap your FPS; there’s no reason to run higher than your monitor’s refresh rate!
You might want to put your PC in another room and run USB/HDMI cables into your room. That way, you can still use the PC without any of the heat it generates making your space uncomfortable.
A box fan can really help with air circulation. Plus, think about optimizing your PC’s efficiency. If venting out through the door isn’t working, is there a way to work with your windows? There are portable units that have a vent hose that can fit with most windows that open a few inches.
In my setup, I have my gaming PC in an office area where I use a ceiling fan, plus a small desk fan that helps blow warm air out of the room. I also installed a vent booster to pull more cool air into the room, which makes a big difference!
I could try a box fan, but I usually keep my door closed. Plus, my PC needs to run at max performance for reasons beyond just gaming, so I'm not sure if that’s the best route. I was also considering designing a custom exhaust attachment for the AC to fit under the door, but that could be pretty impractical. My window setup is kind of tricky too.
