I'm struggling to keep my room cool while gaming on my bulky Acer PC. After about 30 minutes, it feels like a sauna in here! My air conditioning isn't doing much because the thermostat is in another room. In winter, I can just crack the window, but it's summer now, and that's not an option. I'm considering a standalone AC unit vented through my door since my window design won't accommodate any traditional setups. What solutions have you all found to handle overheating while gaming?

Try using a box fan to circulate the air in and out of your room—it makes a difference! Also, look into optimizing your PC's efficiency. Those AC units venting out the door might not work as well as you think; have you considered a window unit? They have designs that fit in windows that open a couple of inches, which could work for you.
The best approach might be to decentralize the heat. If you can't vent the heat out with fans or AC, moving the PC to a different room could help a lot. It's a bit of a hassle, but it would definitely keep the heat away from your gaming space!
1. I could try a box fan, but I typically keep my door shut. 2. My PC really needs to perform at peak levels for gaming and other tasks, so I can't lower its performance too much. 3. I've thought about making a custom exhaust attachment for my AC to run under the door, but that might just be a dream without practicality.
