I'm using Pop!_OS, which is based on Ubuntu and comes with Wine version 6.0.3 by default. I'm trying to run a specific program that seems to have some compatibility issues that were fixed in later versions of Wine. Should I go ahead and install Wine 10? If so, what's the best way to do that?

Pop!_OS is a stable distribution, so you won't have access to the latest versions of software. Wine 10 won't be readily available in your default repositories, but you could try installing it manually if you really need those updates.
Just a heads up, always include details about your distro and any errors when asking for help. It'll make it easier for others to assist you!
Instead of manually installing Wine 10, consider using a Wine frontend like Lutris or Bottles. They're user-friendly and can handle Wine versions for you without the need for micromanagement.
