Thinking About Switching to Linux Mint – Any Advice?

Hey everyone! I'm considering making the switch from Windows to Linux Mint because I've heard good things, and I just want to see how it compares. However, I'm a bit concerned about the compatibility of my software. I primarily use my PC for gaming on Steam and occasionally for applications like LibreOffice, OBS, Blender, and GIMP. I've noticed that AMD Adrenalin isn't available on Mint, which worries me since I use it quite often. Also, I'm unsure about using Armory Crate and Icue. What challenges might I face with Epic Games and Minecraft? I don't play them too frequently, but I want to ensure I can run them if needed. Any insights would be super helpful! Thanks!

You can check out ProtonDB to see how your games are likely to perform on Linux. It's a great resource!

For Minecraft, you'll be fine with the Java version since it's fully compatible. For Epic Games, you can use the Heroic Launcher or Legendary to access your games, although some titles like Fortnite might not work due to anti-cheat issues.
