Hey everyone! I'm considering making the switch to Linux Mint after being a lifelong Windows user, and I'm curious about a few things. I'm a bit anxious about potential compatibility issues with the software I typically use. My main activities include gaming on Steam and using applications like LibreOffice, OBS, Blender, and GIMP. One specific concern I have is that I often rely on AMD Adrenalin for graphics, and I noticed that it's not available on Linux. Plus, I'm wondering about alternatives to Armory Crate and iCUE. I also play Epic Games and Minecraft occasionally—how do you all handle those on Linux Mint? I'd love any tips or insights you can share. Thanks!

If you're migrating to Linux, check out the guidelines in the wiki. They have migration tips and a search feature for more info on making the switch. And remember, it's best to use root access only when necessary and avoid third-party repos unless you trust them. You should verify the checksums of your ISOs too!
For Minecraft, the Java version works great on Linux. You can find launchers for it easily. As for Epic Games, you can use the Heroic Launcher or Legendary to access their games. Just keep in mind, some titles like Fortnite might not work because of their anti-cheat systems.
I'll take a look, thanks for the tip!
You can check this site for potential issues with the games you play: [ProtonDB](https://www.protondb.com/). It gives info on how well different games run on Linux. It's super helpful!
Seems useful, I'll definitely keep this link!
