Help! Random BSODs with IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL After Upgrade

Hey everyone! I upgraded my PC last month and have been facing a ton of random BSODs since the start of June, showing the code "IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL". I've tried updating all my drivers (even found one that was missing), scanned my RAM with no issues found, and dabbled with some commands in the console. Despite this, it crashed again just an hour ago while I was doing nothing intense. I attempted to use Bluescreenview, but I'm not sure how to interpret what it shows. From what I've gathered online, it sounds like an unauthorized memory issue, but I'm at a loss on how to fix this without wiping everything (I heard that might help, but I really want to avoid that). If it helps, I've got the DMP error files available for reference.

Before diving into any major changes, make sure your BIOS is up to date. Sometimes the latest versions include fixes for issues like these. You can grab the latest BIOS version from MSI's website for your motherboard. Also, it’s a good idea to install the latest AMD Chipset Drivers directly from AMD’s site, just the chipset driver though—don’t bother with the other downloads there as they can create issues for some setups. After that, see if those help reduce the BSODs.

Thanks for the advice! I’ll update the BIOS and chipset drivers and see if it helps. I've just been so anxious about messing things up!

It sounds like you're dealing with some tricky BSOD issues. First, you really should gather the dump files from your system to help troubleshoot further. If you can boot into Windows normally—or even better, Safe Mode—you can check for dump files in C:WindowsMinidump. If you find any, zip them up and upload them to a file sharing site like mediafire or catbox.moe so someone can dig into them and help you figure out what's going wrong. Having multiple dump files will give a clearer picture, so if you only find one, that’s okay but try to set up for more in the future!

Gotcha! I'll check for the dump files and see what I find. Thanks for the tip!
