Hey everyone, I recently upgraded my PC and since early June, I've been dealing with multiple random Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) crashes, specifically the error code "IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL." I've already tried updating my drivers (even found one that was missing), scanned the RAM with no issues found, and experimented with the PC console, but the crashes keep happening. Just an hour ago, it crashed again while I wasn't even doing anything intensive. I also attempted to use Bluescreenview to analyze the crashes, but I'm not really sure what the info means. I've read online that this might be related to unauthorized memory usage, but I'm a bit lost on how to resolve it without reinstalling everything, which I'd prefer to avoid if possible. Also, I've uploaded the folder with the DMP error files for further analysis. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated!

To really get to the bottom of those BSODs, you'll want to check for the dump files, which are the crash logs that record what went wrong. If you can boot into Windows normally or through Safe Mode, head to C:WindowsMinidump and look for any dump files. If you've got any, zip them up and upload them to a file sharing site. We usually prefer sites like mediafire or catbox.moe since other hosts can get blocked. Having a few dump files helps us analyze the problem better. If you don't see any files, you might want to change your settings so Windows creates Small Memory Dumps next time a crash happens. Just make sure to follow a guide on how to set that up!
First off, if your BIOS settings are stable (meaning you can navigate without issues), I recommend updating your motherboard's BIOS to the latest version available. You can find it on MSI’s support page for your motherboard. After that, make sure to grab the latest AMD Chipset Drivers for your specific motherboard model from AMD's official site. Be cautious and only install the chipset driver from there, as other drivers might cause issues. After doing these updates, see if you still have those annoying crashes!
I totally get the concern! Generally, it's best to stick with the latest BIOS update unless there's a specific reason to downgrade. Older versions can have bugs that were fixed in updates. Just ensure everything is stable first before you proceed!
Thanks for the advice! My BIOS seems to work fine, but I read some people suggest downgrading if my current version is from 2020. Should I stick with the latest update or go for an older version instead? I'm just really worried about messing something up!
