Hey everyone, I upgraded my PC last month, and since the start of June, I've been dealing with random BSODs that show the error code "IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL." I've updated my drivers—there was one missing—but that didn't solve the problem. I also checked my RAM with no hardware issues found, and I've tried a few things using the PC console. The crashes happen even when I'm not doing anything intensive on my computer. I downloaded Bluescreenview, but I'm not sure how to interpret the results. I read that it could be related to unauthorized memory usage, but I'm hesitant to erase everything. Has anyone experienced this and know how to fix it without going to extremes?

Make sure your BIOS is up to date, as that can sometimes fix these crashes. You can get the latest version (7B86vHN) from the MSI website for your motherboard. After that, grab the latest AMD Chipset Drivers too. Stick with just the Chipset Driver from the website and skip the others, as they can cause conflicts. After you've updated both, see if the BSODs continue!
It sounds frustrating! First off, to dig deeper into the BSOD issue, you'll want to check for any dump files created during the crashes. If you can boot into Windows (even in Safe Mode), head to C:WindowsMinidump and see if you have any files in that folder. If you find them, zip them up and upload them to a site like mediafire or catbox.moe. Multiple dump files can really help with troubleshooting—if you have just one or none, that makes it tougher! Also, make sure to check out this guide on configuring Windows to create minidumps: [link]. Good luck!
Thanks! I’ll check the BIOS version next. Is it better to go with the latest version, or should I consider an older update from 2020 instead? I'm just worried about messing things up.
