Troubleshooting BSOD: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL Issues

Hey everyone, I upgraded my PC last month, and since June, I've been facing multiple random BSODs with the error code "IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL." I've already tried updating my drivers (even fixed one that was missing), scanned my RAM for issues (nothing was found), and tinkered a bit in the command console, but the problem still persists. Just an hour ago, my system crashed again while I was doing absolutely nothing intensive. I installed Bluescreenview for analysis, but I find it confusing. From my online research, I gather it has something to do with unauthorized memory usage, but I'm lost on how to fix it without wiping my system clean (which I'm really hesitant about). Also, I've gathered the DMP error files, which might help diagnose the issue better.

To get a better grasp of what’s causing your BSODs, it’s crucial to analyze your dump files. If you can boot into Windows, check the C:WindowsMinidump folder and see if there are any files there. If you find any, zip them up and upload them using a file-sharing platform like catbox.moe. The more dump files you have, the easier it will be for us to help pinpoint the issue. Additionally, following the guide to set up small memory dumps might provide more useful data. Let’s get those files and see what’s happening!

First off, let’s make sure your BIOS is up to date. If you can navigate through the BIOS menus without any freezes or glitches, then go ahead and update it to the latest version (7B86vHN) from MSI’s support page. Once that’s done, also grab the AMD Chipset Drivers and install those as they’re crucial. Just be sure to only get the AMD Chipset Driver installer from the AMD website, as others might cause issues. After updating, let us know if the crashes keep happening!

It’s usually safe to go for the latest BIOS as long as your current setup is stable. If you have concerns, you might consider looking for user feedback on your specific motherboard version to see if others have faced problems with the latest update.

I’m somewhat confused about updating the BIOS. My current version is from 2020, and I read that sometimes it helps to downgrade to a previous BIOS version if it’s stable. Should I go for the newest one or is it better to stick with an older, more stable version?
