Help! Moved Files from C: to D: and Now My PC Is Struggling

Hey everyone, I recently used the robocopy command to transfer a lot of files from my C: drive to D: to free up some space. However, now my computer isn't working properly. I can't create or open files because it keeps saying the path doesn't exist. I tried moving the files back to C:, which solved some issues, but I've lost a lot of data from my desktop, and my apps won't open. The Start menu isn't functioning properly either. What can I do to fix this?

It's tricky! Windows relies on certain files being in specific locations, so moving core folders like 'Users' and 'Program Files' can cause chaos. If possible, you might need to slowly move those files back to their original spots one by one. But if you've messed up too much, it could require a full Windows reinstall down the line.

Yeah, I moved everything including Program Files and Users without really knowing the consequences. Do you think I should try to backup what little I have left before reinstalling?

If you had a backup before moving everything, restoring from that would be the quickest fix. It sounds like you have some critical system files mixed in with your user files, which could lead to all these errors you're seeing.
