I'm looking to game at 1080p with over 60fps on graphics-intensive games and 100+fps on esports titles. Are 4GB GPUs still a viable option for these gaming needs?

If you're on a budget, maybe consider used options, but even then, most newer games are pushing the limits of 4GB. I monitor games running at 1080p and some are hitting around 10GB of VRAM on high settings. It's just not gonna cut it for the latest releases. Look for GPUs like the RX 6600, which are more suited for modern gaming.

Honestly, I wouldn't recommend a 4GB GPU for most modern games. While you might get by with some older titles, graphics-intensive games are going to require a lot more VRAM than that these days. If you want a smooth experience, aim for something with at least 6GB or 8GB of VRAM. For esports, it could work, but it really depends on the game and settings you're using.

For a niche usage or specific low-power setups, a 4GB GPU could be okay. But generally, for intensive gaming, you're better off saving up for something better. It seems like the sweet spot now is around 8GB for solid performance in AAA games. Just my two cents!

Depends on your budget and what games you play. If you're into competitive esports, you might find some 4GB cards acceptable, but for graphically intense games, you're going to struggle.
