I was trying to play some games on my PC last night, but I kept getting messages telling me to update my GPU drivers. After spending hours troubleshooting other problems, I figured I should just update the drivers. I came across an older post that suggested doing a clean uninstall and reinstall of the drivers. I was hesitant but felt stuck, so I went ahead with it. Now, however, my GPU isn't showing up in Device Manager or anywhere else! The only driver that seemed to work was version 566.36, but now it says it's not compatible. I'm really at a loss here—how can I get compatible drivers for my RTX 3060?

Man, it might be worth trying the NVIDIA GeForce Experience app, even if it’s not super popular. It could help you find and install the correct drivers automatically, so give it a shot!
It sounds like your GPU might be on its last legs if you're not finding any drivers after a clean reinstall. Have you checked the event log for any errors? That could give you some clues about what's going on with the hardware.
If none of the drivers are working, your GPU might be failing. But you can try to look for the older drivers you uninstalled on NVIDIA's website. Sometimes they archive legacy drivers that might still be compatible with your RTX 3060.
Thanks for the suggestion, I didn’t realize they archived older drivers! I'll definitely check that out.
