Hey everyone! I'm fairly new to PC building and recently upgraded my RAM. Here are my specs: I have an ASUS ROG Strix G15DK motherboard, and I added Vengeance LPX 2x16GB 3200MHz RAM. My processor is an AMD Ryzen 7 3700X, and my GPU is an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070. After installing the new RAM, I went into the BIOS and set it to DCOP, which I think is ASUS' version of XMP. However, I'm noticing that my RAM usage caps at around 14GB and my GPU usage is only about 60-70% during gaming. I'm wondering if there's a setting that's limiting my RAM or GPU, or if there could be another factor affecting my performance. I hope I didn't overestimate the impact of the RAM upgrade on my graphics settings. Any insights would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

If your RAM is showing up in Task Manager, it sounds like it’s installed correctly. Keep in mind that just because you have more RAM doesn’t necessarily mean it will be fully utilized all the time. It’s like having extra luggage space in a car; it won’t make your car go faster unless you actually fill that space. Sometimes, it’s more about the GPU's capabilities, especially if it’s maxed out on rendering at higher graphics settings. It might be worth checking if your GPU is the limiting factor in your performance.
Since your Task Manager shows 32GB, it confirms your RAM is recognized. If you feel like the GPU is running at 60-70% and the RAM isn’t being fully utilized, it could be a bottleneck—perhaps the GPU isn’t able to handle the settings you’ve chosen. Have you tried lowering some graphic settings to see if performance improves? Also, keep the drivers updated to ensure optimal performance.
