What Linux Distro Should I Use for My Low-End Laptop?

I've just got a laptop that seems pretty low-powered, and I want to make sure I get the best Linux distro for my needs. I tried Linux Mint, but it's a bit sluggish on this machine. I'm really just looking for something that lets me watch videos, listen to music, and browse files, maybe even use Discord. My laptop has an Intel Celeron N4000 processor and about 6GB of RAM, so I need something user-friendly that doesn't look too outdated. Any suggestions?

You might want to check out MX Linux with XFCE or Fluxbox. It's designed for older hardware and tends to run pretty smoothly! Arch is another option, but it requires a bit more technical know-how. If you're up for it, give it a shot!

Lubuntu is a solid choice for older computers like yours. It's lightweight and runs well with lower specs, plus the interface looks fairly modern without being overwhelming. You'll find it easy to use for everyday tasks.

Absolutely, Lubuntu has worked wonders on my old hardware too!
