I'm getting ready to build a new PC, but my budget is pretty tight. I'm planning to save up for a good GPU, like a 9060 XT with 16GB, which might take me 8 to 10 months. In the meantime, I need something to use. I'm considering these two options: 1) an R5 8600G with an MSI Pro B650M-B motherboard and 16GB of 6000MHz DDR5 RAM, or 2) an R5 8400F with an MSI Pro A620M-E motherboard, 16GB of 4800MHz DDR5 RAM, but paired with a used RX 590 XT (which might not be in the best shape). I'm also open to getting a lower-end GPU for the time being if it means I can still enjoy decent 1080p gaming after the upgrade. I really prefer the AM5 platform for future upgrades. What should I do?

Honestly, you might want to think about skipping the new build altogether if you're not finding the exact parts you want in the used market. Have you checked for used gaming PCs in your area instead?
Yeah, I get that. It can be tough finding good parts and not getting scammed. I'm in the same boat—it feels risky for sure!
