I'm having a lot of trouble with my laptop. It's a 2022 ASUS ROG Zephyrus G15 that runs Windows 11. I'm seeing a constant Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) with the stop code 'Critical_process_died.' I upgraded my RAM recently and now have a total of 40GB (I had 16GB originally and added another 16GB, or maybe it was an 8GB and a 16GB). The laptop tends to get pretty hot too, and I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to fix these BSOD issues? Also, I have some minidump files but I'm not sure how to get them uploaded. Any advice would be appreciated!

First off, make sure to check your minidump files, as they can provide a lot of insight into what's going wrong. If you can boot into Windows, go to C:WindowsMinidump and see if there are any files there. If you find some, zip them up and upload them to a file-sharing site. You might want to follow the instructions in this guide to obtain better crash logs. Just a tip: if you're adding RAM, ensure that the modules are compatible, as mismatched RAM can sometimes lead to BSODs too!
It's really strange that you're getting a BSOD after an upgrade, especially with mismatch in RAM sizes. Make sure all your RAM sticks are properly seated and check if they are compatible with your motherboard. If you're still having issues, it might be worth rolling back to the original RAM configuration to see if that fixes the problem. Also, overheating could be related—make sure your cooling system is running smoothly and not blocking airflow!
Good call! If the laptop's getting too hot, that could definitely be triggering BSODs.
Yeah, definitely check those dump files! It's crucial for diagnosing the problem.
