How can I fix constant BSODs on my 2022 ASUS laptop?

I've been experiencing constant Blue Screens of Death (BSOD) on my ASUS ROG Zephyrus G15 laptop. It shows the stop code 'Critical_process_died'. My laptop runs Windows 11, and I recently upgraded the RAM from 16 GB to 40 GB (although I'm a bit confused about how that total came to be; I thought it was 16 GB originally, but I added another 16 GB along with some 8 GB sticks). I also have a GeForce RTX 3060 and an i7-12700 processor. The laptop tends to get hot quickly. Does anyone have any ideas on how to resolve this issue? I also have a minidump file that may help diagnose the problem, but I'm not sure how to upload it properly.

Definitely back up your data first, just in case. If your laptop is getting hot, it could be a cooling issue that's contributing to the BSODs. Make sure the fans and vents aren't blocked, and consider cleaning them if they are. By the way, what kind of RAM is it? Sometimes, different brands or speeds can cause issues too. If you're adding different sizes, confirm they're compatible with your setup.

It sounds like there may have been some confusion about your RAM setup. Double-check your BIOS settings; sometimes, mismatched RAM can cause instability. As for the BSODs, you'll need to gather the dump files for a better diagnosis. To find them, go to C:WindowsMinidump if you can access your Windows normally or try booting in Safe Mode. Once you find those files, zip them up and share them using a file hosting service like MediaFire or Catbox. Multiple dump files can really help pinpoint the problem. Good luck!

Regarding the RAM confusion, if you installed one 16 GB stick and one 8 GB stick, it could lead to a total of 24 GB, not 40. It’s essential to match the sticks for optimal performance. As for fixing the BSOD, try updating your drivers and running a Windows Update to see if any patches can help stabilize your system. They can occasionally resolve critical issues like the one you're facing.
