Why isn’t my motherboard’s Wi-Fi showing up?

Hey everyone! I'm having trouble with my Gigabyte Eagle X870 Wi-Fi motherboard. When I try to connect to Wi-Fi without using an ethernet cable, the option just doesn't appear. I can only see Bluetooth options. The motherboard came with an IO port adapter that connects to the back, but that hasn't helped either. In the Device Manager, under network adapters, it lists "Realtek PCIe 2.5GbE Family Controller." I downloaded the Realtek LAN driver from Gigabyte's website, but I'm wondering if I'm missing something minor that could be causing this issue. Any suggestions?

For your motherboard, you'll need to download and install the Wi-Fi drivers from their support page. Here's the link: https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/X870-EAGLE-WIFI7/support#dl.

Have you installed the Wi-Fi drivers yet? That might be what's missing here!

Would that be the same as the LAN driver? I couldn't find anything labeled 'Wi-Fi' on their site, unless I'm just overlooking it.

Also, double-check if you're in airplane mode. That can sometimes block Wi-Fi from showing up!
