Hey everyone,
I recently received a message request on Instagram from someone I know. Since we're not friends, it landed in the message requests folder and was blurred out. I initially thought it was safe since META usually blocks any media like that. However, I ended up unblurring the picture without really thinking about it, and I'm worried it might have compromised my Android phone. The image was work-related, but now I'm just unsure. I do have two-factor authentication enabled on my Instagram account, so I hope that helps. What do you all think?

You should be okay! Just don’t click on any links or download attachments from random messages. Keeping your 2FA is a smart move too—just a bit of extra security!
Nah, you're probably fine. As long as you didn't download anything from that message, there’s not much risk. Just remember to be cautious about unknown messages in the future!
Lol, you're good! Unless the message had a malware link, you're in the clear. Just keep being careful with those message requests!
