Hey fellow programmers! I'm currently diving into lambda expressions and functional interfaces, and I'm curious about their real-world usage. How frequently do you encounter them in your work? Also, how often do you find yourself creating your own functional interfaces? I get that they're great for processing data neatly, but I'd love to hear your experiences!

Using callbacks in methods like forEach is pretty common. Sometimes I just prefer writing my own loops though. But mixing lambdas into my workflows? Totally a thing!

Yeah, I use them a lot, especially when I'm filtering data or need to pass a quick callback. Super helpful!

In Python, I use them quite often on some projects. You might not use them constantly in your own code, but you'll definitely need to read them in others’ code. They're particularly handy for sorting, like in the K Closest Points problem for LeetCode. One dense line, or just a few lines, and you're done in a flash!

I run into lambdas pretty regularly, but I try to stick with named functions when it makes sense. Keeps things clear!

I leverage lambdas daily! They really shine when working with lists or dataframes. Makes my life easier!

Lambdas are great, but don’t forget that C++ got along without them for nearly 25 years! Still a solid language without them.
