Looking for Advice on Upgrading My Gaming Setup

I'm currently using an AMD 6600 graphics card with an Intel i5 12400F CPU, and I'm planning to upgrade my whole setup to support 1440p gaming. I'm looking to replace my motherboard, GPU, CPU, cooler, and add another terabyte of storage. The total cost for these upgrades will be around $1100. I'd love to hear honest feedback and suggestions! Here's my intended build: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/BGCN4p

With your budget, I’d also recommend investing in a more powerful power supply unit (PSU). Graphics card prices are fluctuating, and a solid PSU will definitely pay off down the line!

You might not even need to upgrade the CPU, motherboard, and cooler. It would really help if you shared the specs of your current build. The i5 12400F is still pretty decent for 1440p gaming at high settings! Plus, if you're planning a whole rebuild, an AMD setup could save you some money while still delivering performance—consider something like the Ryzen 5 9600X which is cheaper and performs similarly to the 14700KF. Beyond certain points, those extra cores don’t really benefit gaming. Seriously, anything over the 13600K is likely overkill for what you’re aiming for.

If you're thinking about a full overhaul, you might want to consider switching to an AM5 setup. There are a lot of great CPUs available now and more are coming out soon. It could be worth the investment for future upgrades!

AM5 as in any AMD Ryzen 5 CPU?
