My AirPods 4 Won’t Charge After Six Months – What Should I Do?

I've had older AirPods that lasted for years, but my new AirPods 4, which I bought from Walmart in December, are not charging correctly. The charging widget on my phone shows they're charging, but when I try to use them, I hear the dying sound. I've cleaned the charging port and the case multiple times, and I don't see any updates available. The only thing I haven't tried yet is disconnecting and reconnecting them to my iPhone 16 Pro Max. Any suggestions?

Have you thought about resetting your AirPods? It only takes a few minutes and can often solve these kinds of issues. Just pop them back in the case, hold the button on the back until the light flashes, and then reconnect them to your phone. It might just do the trick!

I'll give that a shot after work! Honestly, being in a warehouse with no headphones feels rough, so I'm willing to try anything at this point, haha.

Quick question: I'm curious why these AirPods aren't showing up in the Find My app. Any idea why that happens?
