Hey everyone! I'm looking for some advice on my first gaming PC build. I'm transitioning from a PS5 to a PC and I want to make sure I'm building something solid. I've decided to go with a Micro ATX setup so it won't take up too much room. Here's what I have:
- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 7 9700X
- **GPU**: Asus TUF Gaming RTX 5070 Ti
- **CPU Cooler**: Arctic Liquid Freezer III Pro 360
- **Motherboard**: Gigabyte B850M AORUS ELITE WIFI6E
- **Memory**: Corsair Vengeance DDR5 RAM 32GB (16x2)
- **Storage**: Silicon Power 4TB US75 NVMe 4.0 PCIe M.2 SSD 7000/6500 MB/s
- **Case**: Asus Prime AP201 TG Micro ATX 33L
- **Power Supply**: Corsair RM850e ATX; ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1
- **Fan**: Arctic P12 Max
I'm particularly unsure if I should stick with the 9700X or upgrade to the 9800X3D for better gaming performance. Any thoughts on that or suggestions for improvements? Thanks in advance!

Your build looks solid! For gaming, I'd recommend going with the **9800X3D** over the 9700X. The 3D V-Cache really boosts performance in modern games, especially at 1080p and 1440p. If you're mostly gaming, that extra cost is definitely worth it!
As for the RAM, the Corsair Vengeance DDR5 is a great choice; just make sure it's 6000 MHz with low latency for the best performance with Ryzen.
Regarding the cooler, be cautious with the Arctic Liquid Freezer III 360mm – check if your ASUS AP201 case can fit it. If it doesn’t, consider a 240mm AIO or a strong air cooler instead.
Overall, you're on the right track, but prioritize the CPU upgrade for gaming. Let us know how the build goes!
Thanks for the help, I’m definitely leaning towards the 9800X3D now!
Overall, I think you’re making a good choice. Just verify compatibility with the cooler and storage, and you’ll have an awesome gaming rig! Enjoy the building process!
Thanks for the support! I can't wait to get started!
About the storage, I noticed your choice of Silicon Power US75. It uses QLC flash, which isn't the most durable and can slow down over time. I'd recommend looking into TLC drives instead, like the WD Blue SN5000 or the Kioxia Exceria. They offer better performance and longevity for gaming. Just something to keep in mind!

Good call on the RAM. I used the same and it’s been fantastic!
