I'm planning to switch my Lenovo Legion 5 from Windows to Linux, and I want to make sure I pick a distro that's compatible and will run smoothly. I mainly use my laptop for programming, and occasionally for gaming (mostly Linux-compatible games), along with some office tasks that can be done online. My laptop specs are: AMD Ryzen™ 7 5800H, NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 3060, Realtek® ALC3306, and Wi-Fi® 6 with Bluetooth 5.1. If anyone else has experience with this model or similar specs, I'd love to hear your suggestions!

I have the same model and I use cachyOS. It runs flawlessly and I haven’t faced any issues at all. Definitely worth a try!
I've been using Fedora on my Legion 5, and I really like it! It has a sleek interface and works great for both programming and gaming. Give it a shot!
Nice, I love the aesthetics of Fedora! I’ll have to check its compatibility with my setup too.
Thanks! I’ll look into cachyOS as well.
