Need Feedback on My New PC Build

I'm about to finalize my new PC build and would appreciate some quick feedback before making the purchase. Here's what I'm planning:

- Ryzen 5 5600X
- RX 7600 8GB
- 2x8GB DDR4 3200MHz
- 512GB NVMe SSD

This setup will mainly be used for software like Proteus, MATLAB Simulink, and Altium. I also plan on running some virtual machines, primarily Kali Linux, and of course, I want to ensure I can game at 1080p on high to ultra settings. Does this build look solid for my needs? Is there anything I should change or improve before I commit?

I'd recommend spending a little extra and opting for a 1TB SSD. It really makes a difference for storage, especially with VMs and gaming. You might find yourself running out of space sooner than you think with 512GB. Also, keep in mind that the RX 7600 isn't the most powerful GPU out there for certain applications, so it might be worth considering alternatives if you're planning for heavy usage. Just a thought!

I hear you on the SSD size, but where I'm at, the price difference is pretty steep to jump from 512GB to 1TB. What do you think about the CPU and GPU—do they hold up for what I'll be using them for? Some friends say the RX is kind of average. Is an RTX 3060 12GB a better choice? Just not sure if the added cost is justified.

Yeah, he was pointing out that for your software like Altium and MATLAB, the GPU might not be ideal. So, definitely weigh your options if you're willing to invest a bit more.
