I'm a 19-year-old pursuing a BA, but I'm not great at math and I struggle with social anxiety, which makes me hesitant to prepare for government jobs. I'm looking for a way to earn money quickly, and I've recently taken an interest in learning Python by watching tutorials. However, I'm unsure whether I can actually get a job in programming since I find studying challenging, and my family's financial situation isn't the best. Any advice on whether learning programming will help me secure a job?

The job market is tough right now, especially after the initial boom in 2020. If you're looking to earn quickly without much effort, you might be in for a rough time. Learning programming requires hard work and a commitment to keep up with new technologies outside of class. You’ll need to be prepared to put in the effort if you want to succeed.
It’s important to know your programming languages well and also find out which area of software engineering piques your interest. Not every programmer comes from an excellent academic background or has strong math skills, so don’t let that discourage you!
That makes sense! It’s good to know that there’s hope for those of us who may not fit the typical mold.
