I'm new to PC building and would love some help! Here are my core components:
- **CPU**: Intel Core i5-12400F (6 cores, 12 threads, boosting up to 4.4GHz)
- **GPU**: NVIDIA RTX 4060 (8GB GDDR6)
- **RAM**: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 at 3200MHz
- **Storage**: Crucial P3 1TB NVMe SSD
- **Motherboard**: Gigabyte B660M DS3H DDR4
- **Power Supply**: Cooler Master MWE 550W 80+ Bronze
- **Case**: Ant Esports ICE-130AG
I'm primarily building this PC for video editing, gaming, and animation. I want it to handle heavy games with high graphics, like Star Citizen and Cyberpunk 2077, while being capable of multitasking. I'm really unsure if my choices are good or if there are better alternatives out there. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

I’d suggest reconsidering your GPU selection. The RTX 4060 with only 8GB might not handle high-end games as well as you’d like, especially if you want to play at higher resolutions. Also, think about going with a Ryzen 7 7700X instead of Intel for better performance in editing and multitasking. More cores can really help!
If you're not sure about resolutions, aim for a 1440p setup—that way you'll have a good balance of performance without breaking the bank. Over time, you can upgrade further!
Be cautious with the Crucial P3—it uses QLC flash, which might slow down after a few years due to its low durability. For better longevity, check out options like the Kioxia Exceria Plus G3 or WD Blue SN580. They offer good performance and reliability for your build.
Thanks for the suggestions! Is there anything else I should watch out for?
