I'm curious if it's feasible for someone new to Linux to successfully install Gentoo. I've heard a lot about it, and I'm really interested, but I'm not sure if my lack of experience will hold me back.

If you can handle the manual installation of Arch, then you can totally manage Gentoo too! They’re quite similar in the level of involvement required, so you’d be well-prepared for that.
You definitely can if you've got the patience and are ready to read a lot. Gentoo is quite involved—in a good way, but it does require you to work through the documentation. If you’re committed, go for it!
To be honest, I think you should start with a more user-friendly distribution first. It’s ideal to have some foundational knowledge about Linux before diving into Gentoo. Maybe try installing Arch without the installer to get a good handle on things—this way, you won’t have a ton of headaches when trying to set up Gentoo.
Totally agree! Starting with something like Ubuntu or Mint might give you a good base to build on before heading toward Gentoo.
