Is My CPU Limiting My New GPU Performance?

Hey everyone! I recently upgraded my GPU from a 1660 Super to a 9060 XT, but I'm not seeing much difference in my FPS while playing Valorant. I used to hit 200-250 FPS with my old GPU, and now with the new one, it feels like there's hardly any improvement. I've noticed that my GPU isn't being fully utilized at times, and sometimes my CPU seems to be underperforming too. Is my i5 11600K not strong enough for this setup? Are there any tweaks or fixes I can make without having to buy a new CPU?

It sounds like your CPU might be bottlenecking your performance, especially in a game like Valorant which can be quite CPU-dependent. Check your CPU usage while playing; if it’s not maxing out, that's a sign. Also, look into whether you’re hitting your CPU's maximum turbo frequency—if it’s getting too hot and throttling, that can slow things down too.

You might want to try overclocking your CPU or adjusting your memory timings. Sometimes, it's a memory bandwidth issue rather than a strict CPU bottleneck. Just remember to keep an eye on your temperatures to avoid overheating!

Thanks! How much would you recommend overclocking my CPU safely?
