I've been on the hunt for a GPU for a while now since I returned my used 6900XT. I'm aiming for decent 1440p performance, with ultra settings being my goal. I'm trying to figure out which card gives the best value for the price. Here are the options I'm considering:
- RX 9070 (ASRock Challenger) - $690
- RX 9070XT (ASRock Steel Legend) - $813
- RX 7800XT (Sapphire Pulse) - $483
- RTX 5070 (Palit) - $621
Keep in mind that prices are a bit higher here since I live in Asia. What do you all think?

The 9070 seems to be a really good pick! I've heard great things about it, and its value-to-performance ratio might just be the best among those options.
For what it's worth, I just got the Sapphire Pulse 9070 and I gotta say, it's exceeded my expectations. I hesitated a bit since I paid $100 over MSRP, but it turned out well! Totally recommend it!
If we're looking at those prices, I'd say the RTX 5070 is a solid choice. If you can swing it, the 9070 is also a great option for performance, especially the benefits of the 9000 series.
I feel you on that. I'm leaning towards the 9070 too. It's got a good balance of performance and features!
That sounds awesome! I'm seriously considering the 9070 now!
