I'm really new to building PCs and I'm not even sure what components I need to get started. Can someone break down the essential parts I'll need to assemble a computer?

YouTube is your best friend! There are tons of tutorials out there that guide you through the building process step by step. Just search for 'how to build a PC', and you'll find plenty of resources.

You'll need several key components to build a PC. Here's a checklist: CPU, a heatsink or fan to cool it down, a motherboard to connect everything, RAM for memory, a graphics card (GPU) for visuals, an M.2 SSD for storage, a case to hold everything together, and a PSU to power it all. It's like putting together a Lego set!

Don't forget, you'll also need cables and maybe some thermal paste for the CPU!

Check out PCPartPicker! It helps you choose compatible components. Just pick your CPU, GPU, and it’ll handle the rest by telling you what fits together.
