Hey everyone! After sticking with my trusty PC for 11 years, it's time to upgrade. My current setup with a GTX 970 just can't keep up anymore. I'm looking for some guidance to ensure my new parts are compatible and maybe get some suggestions for improvements. Here's what I'm considering for my new build:

- **CPU:** AMD Ryzen 7 9700x
- **GPU:** ASUS Prime RX 9070 XT 16GB (I definitely want to stick with this!)
- **Mainboard:** ASUS Prime B650M-R
- **RAM:** Lexar Thor OC 32GB (2x16) DDR5 6000MHz CL38
- **Storage:** LEXAR NM790 1TB Gen4
- **Case:** ASUS A21 Plus ARGB
- **PSU:** Enermax MaxPro III 700W 80+
- **CPU Cooler:** Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120

Let me know if you spot any compatibility issues or have recommendations for better parts. Thanks!

Great build overall, but I would recommend bumping up your PSU to at least an 850W Gold-rated unit, or even 1000W if you can. For optimal efficiency, it's good practice to keep your power consumption around 50% of the PSU's capacity. With your GPU pulling around 330W and CPU around 100W, plus other components, 700W might be cutting it close. Don’t skimp on the power supply!

Good to know! I've had people tell me similar things, but wasn't sure. I'll take your advice seriously!

I totally agree with that! I had a Ryzen 9 5900X with an RTX 3080 on a 750W PSU, and I had to upgrade to 850W after my system shut down during heavy gaming. It’s better to have some headroom!
