Hey everyone! I'm on behalf of my friend who needs a new gaming and animation PC with a budget of $2000. He prefers a prebuilt option since he's not comfortable building one himself. Ideally, he wants something that can handle games at high settings and also manage animation tasks smoothly. He's leaning towards an AM5 setup and is considering either a 9070XT or a 5070ti for the GPU, along with a B850 motherboard. He doesn't live near a Microcenter, so any suggestions for prebuilt PCs would be super helpful!

Have you thought about building one for him? It can save some cash and you get exactly what you want! But I get it if he wants the prebuilt route.
This seems like a good spot for PC building advice, but I'd recommend checking out r/suggestapc or r/Prebuilts for specific prebuilt options. They should have some great recommendations.
Thanks! I was totally missing those subreddits.
We’ve had solid experiences with Puget Systems. Their custom builds are great, though $2000 is going to be tight for high-end components. Definitely a better choice than Dell or HP, trust me – I have a slow Dell from work and it's a nightmare to render on.
I have a similar setup, but I’m using a 4070ti. It's great for animation, rendering, and upscaling to 8K. By the way, Microcenter does ship, and building a PC isn't as tricky as it sounds!
That's good to know! He had a bad experience building one before, but I’ll check out the shipping from Microcenter.
Yeah, but I’m in the UK and he’s in the US, so I can't build it for him.
