So I plugged my phone's charger into a new socket, and there was this small spark. Ever since then, my phone hasn't been charging at all with that charger. I tried my mom's charger on my phone, and it worked perfectly. Then, I tested my charger on her phone, and it charged without issues. I'm really confused about what could be causing this. Any ideas on what I should do?

Have you thought about just swapping chargers with your mom? Also, try restarting your phone! You could test if your phone charges with her charger or if it charges with your cable on her charging brick. That should help narrow it down to which part is the issue.
It sounds like there might be an issue with your phone's charging port. You could try using a different charging cable to see if that helps. If your phone doesn’t recognize the new cable either, then it might need some repairs.
But if my charging port is the problem, why does my mom's charger work fine with my phone?
You're likely dealing with either a damaged charging port or some software issue triggered by the spark. It may have caused a temporary lock on your phone’s charging system as a protective measure. Definitely check the charging port for any debris, and maybe try resetting the charging settings if you can.
Yeah, I’ve realized my phone’s charging port is probably damaged. It only briefly charges with other chargers before stopping.
