Why Does My Laptop Keep Blue Screening While Gaming?

I'm using an ASUS Vivobook 15 OLED with an Intel i5-11300H processor and a GTX 1650 graphics card. It has 16 GB of RAM and a 512 GB SSD. I know this laptop isn't specifically designed for gaming, but I enjoy playing Minecraft with friends during my free time. Recently, I've been experiencing multiple blue screens while playing, and I'm puzzled because I thought Minecraft isn't that resource-intensive. I've read online that the issues could stem from GPU stress, RAM problems, or overheating. How can I diagnose which one of these could be causing my blue screens? Thanks for any help, and sorry if my English isn't perfect!

To really get to the bottom of those blue screens, you'll want to check for dump files—they're crash logs that help diagnose the BSODs. If you can access Windows normally or through Safe Mode, look for dump files in C:WindowsMinidump. If you find some, zip them up and upload them to a file-sharing site like Catbox or Mediafire. The more dump files you can provide, the better for analysis. If you don’t have any or just a single one, still upload what you can and follow a guide to configure Windows to create smaller memory dumps moving forward. This should help give us a clearer picture of the issue!

Blue screens should ideally not happen at all, even when the laptop is under heavy use. Instead of crashing, you might just see thermal throttling, which would slow things down without hitting the BSOD. It’d be great if you could share the specific error message you see when the blue screen pops up—often, it provides clues about the problem. Also, what version of Windows are you using?

I'm on Windows 11 with all updates completed, but the blue screen message goes by so quickly that I can never catch what it says before it restarts!
