Last month, my RTX 3060 GPU shorted out, but I've since had it repaired. I'm feeling a bit nervous about running high-spec games like The Last of Us 2. Given my current PC specs—Ryzen 5 5800, 16GB RAM, and having previously run on 8GB before the short—should I be worried about running demanding games? What do you all think?

You'll be just fine! Playing a low-spec game with an uncapped frame rate is the same as playing a high-spec one—it's still 100% GPU usage. If there's any risk of something going wrong, it’ll show up regardless of what you're playing, so you might as well enjoy those high-spec games without holding back.
That actually makes a lot of sense. I get around 250 FPS in Valorant with my Ryzen 5 5800 and RTX 3060, so I'm already pushing the GPU hard even though it’s a lighter game. I think my short circuit last month got me paranoid, but you're right—if it's going to fail, it’ll fail no matter what I’m running. Thanks for the reassurance!
