Hey everyone! I'm looking to upgrade my graphics card from a 1660 Super and have narrowed it down to either the 9060 XT with 16GB for $490 CAD or a 7800 XT, which comes in both used for $600 CAD and new for $700 CAD. I mostly enjoy older single-player and story-driven games, but I also play some newer titles now and then. I'm aiming for a card that will last about 5 years, even if I need to run newer games on medium to high settings. I'll be gaming at 1440p, so I'm wondering if the performance boost from the 7800 XT is worth its higher price compared to the deal on the 9060 XT. What do you all think?

If you're primarily gaming at 1440p, the 7800 XT would be the better long-term investment. It offers more performance, and while the 9060 XT is a solid choice and budget-friendly, it might not handle the latest games as well in the coming years. If your budget allows, I’d suggest going for the 7800 XT!
Do you think it matters if the 7800 XT is used or new?
