Help! My External Hard Drive Won’t Connect to Windows 11

I've had my computer for about six months now and my external hard drive has worked without any issues until recently. Out of nowhere, my Windows 11 system started saying that it couldn't detect the hard drive. I ran some tests, but they all yielded the same result: it still can't recognize the drive. Has anyone experienced this before or know how to troubleshoot it?

Just a heads up, playing around with your BIOS settings or disk setup could lead to data loss. Make sure you've got backed up data before making changes! You might want to check some FAQs or guides on handling external drives with Windows 11 for more insights.

The best way to figure out whether the issue lies with your computer or the external drive is to test the drive on another device, like a different desktop or laptop. If it connects without problems elsewhere, then it’s likely something on your computer causing the issue.
