Help! Windows 11 Broke Itself After a Restart

Hey everyone! I turned on my PC today and it was acting super strange. The boot time was really slow, and when I finally got to the desktop, my taskbar was missing. I noticed this weird file called clsid_startmenu on my desktop, and when I pressed the Windows key to access the Start menu, my screen just flickered without anything happening.

I figured it might just be an explorer issue, so I accessed the task manager, but it was showing a fallback UI instead of the usual one. Restarting explorer didn't help at all, and some apps wouldn't even open—throwing the "Class not registered" error.

I started to panic a little and thought that maybe a recent Windows update might have caused this. I tried to access recovery options, but it failed to revert the updates. I ran chkdsk, dism, and sfc, but nothing really improved the situation, even though chkdsk claimed to have fixed something. I figured I might have a system restore point available, but that failed too.

I guess my last resort would be to reinstall Windows, but I'm really curious about what made my system go haywire in the first place. Any ideas? Thanks!
