Unable to Update MacBook Past Catalina – Need Help!

I own a 2019 MacBook Pro 13 Inch with a Touchbar, and I've been stuck on macOS Catalina for a couple of years now. Despite confirming that my device should support the latest macOS updates and having plenty of free storage, I can't seem to update beyond Catalina. I've tried everything from updating in recovery mode and resetting the NVRAM to using a boot disk and even attempting updates from the terminal. It goes through the motions of updating, restarts, and then just boots up like normal without any errors or actual updates. I'm pretty lost and could really use some advice on why this isn't working. Has anyone experienced something similar or have any potential solutions?

This is pretty unusual! It sounds like you've done a lot already. Have you considered completely wiping your hard drive and starting fresh? I think it might help if you can rebuild the partition table and set everything up anew with a GUID partition and APFS volume. It's a bit drastic, but it could solve your issue.

Just to clarify, which macOS versions are you trying to install? When you mentioned cookie cutter answers from Apple, did they provide any specific troubleshooting steps outside of what you've already done? It might help to know what Apple suggested to get more context on the issue.

I’ve actually spoken to Apple support, and they walked me through all the steps I mentioned in my post. I’m just stuck!
