I'm planning to build my PC tomorrow and I want to know how long I should allocate for the whole process. Just a rough estimate would be great!

If you've built before and know the ropes, it could take you around 30 minutes. But if you're following a YouTube tutorial and double-checking things, expect it to take about an hour. That's how long it took me on my first build last month!

Usually, I take about an hour and a half, especially since I include software installs and benchmarking in that time. If you take care to keep things neat and organized, it pays off in the end!

I spent about 6 hours on my first build, mainly because I was a bit lost. But after building my sixth PC recently, I was able to do it in under an hour! So, I’d say expect the first one to take longer, and definitely double-check everything as you go.

Depending on your experience, I’d say anywhere from 30 minutes to 6 hours. My first build was a mess—I had to replace some parts and ended up reassembling everything three times because of a few mistakes! Total time was around 4 hours. Just keep it simple for your first attempt and enjoy the process!

Thanks for the advice! Definitely planning on taking my time and being cautious.

For me, it took around 3 to 4 hours, but I was really careful about checking everything before I installed it. I also spent some time on cable management which added to the total time. Don't rush it—those first power button presses are nerve-wracking!
