Hey everyone! I recently upgraded my setup by swapping out my old Thermaltake 650W power supply for a Seasonic Focus 650W Gold modular PSU and adding a new RX 9060 XT GPU. After installing the new PSU, I experienced a few boot looping issues, but eventually, everything posted fine after checking the RAM. However, I started feeling faint shocks when touching different parts of my PC case, even when the computer was completely powered off.
I've noticed shocks specifically when touching the GPU bracket and the front panel USB 3.0 ports. I even felt a mild shock after power draining and unplugging the PC. I grounded myself before touching anything to be safe, but the shocks still occur. Additionally, since the upgrade, I've encountered some performance issues while gaming, like major stutters and high RAM usage.
Before upgrading, I had no issues with shocks or performance. I've checked all the connections and made sure everything is secured. Do you think the shocks are due to a grounding issue, especially since I never experienced this with my old PSU? Any insights would be appreciated!

It sounds like you might have a grounding issue in your electrical setup. If your PC is plugged into an outlet that isn't properly grounded, it could cause those shocks you're feeling. Make sure to check the ground connection of your electric network; your PC itself likely isn't the problem.
Just to clarify, could this happen even if I didn't have this issue with my old PSU? Also, does using an automatic voltage regulator help anything?
