I'm planning my dream PC build and I want to know if the parts I picked are balanced. Here's what I have:
- ASUS A31 PLUS TG ARGB Black Case – €94.90
- ASUS TUF Gaming TF120 ARGB 3-Pack (120mm, Black) – €56.35
- AMD Ryzen 9 7900 12-Core AM5 Tray CPU – €282.30
- Silicon Power US75 2TB M.2 PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD – €131.50
- Kingston 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5 6000MT/s CL30 RGB EXPO – €130.30
- Gigabyte GeForce RTX 5070 WINDFORCE OC SFF 12GB – €615.40
- ASUS TUF GAMING B650-PLUS WIFI AM5 ATX Motherboard – €184.90
- ASUS TUF GAMING LC II 360 ARGB AIO Liquid Cooler – €109.90
- ADATA XPG Core Reactor II VE 850W ATX PSU – €104.20
Do you think this setup is well-balanced? Any suggestions for better parts in a similar price range?

Your build looks solid overall, but if it's mainly for gaming, you might want to consider swapping the Ryzen 9 7900 with a cheaper option like the 9600X. It performs just as well for gaming. However, if you're doing more CPU-intensive tasks like video editing, the 7900 is a better choice. Also, ditch the expensive AIO cooler for something more affordable; a decent air cooler will work perfectly fine.
I think your build is generally well-balanced, but I’d recommend the RX 9070 instead of the 5070. It’s better and offers more VRAM, which you’ll need for AAA games. Also, consider a B850 motherboard since it’s more updated. If gaming is your main focus, you might want to look at the 9600X. It’s about $100 less and won't hit your gaming performance too hard. Another good option is the 7800X3D for a bit more money, which gives a nice boost for gaming.
That makes sense! I’d definitely consider the 9070, but just to let you know, it’s about €70 more.
