I'm planning to upgrade my PC, especially now that I've got my hands on an RTX 3080 last month. I'm aiming for a total budget of around €500 to €600. Right now, I'm looking at some components: an MSI Pro B760-P motherboard, an i5 14600k CPU, 32GB (2x16GB) Corsair Vengeance DDR5 6000MHz RAM, and a Corsair Nautilus 240RS AIO cooler, adding up to about €590-€600. I'm wondering if there's room for improvement in this setup. Are there any parts that might not be necessary or alternatives that could save me some cash while maintaining good performance? Also, I recently installed an 850W MSI MAG Gold PSU with the 3080—will that be sufficient for this upgrade? Just to clarify, my 3080 is an Asus TUF 3080 OC.

If I were you, I’d consider switching to an AM5 9600X build, which might save you some cash and doesn’t need an expensive AIO cooler. A solid budget air cooler like the Thermalright Phantom Spirit would do the job nicely. Your 850W PSU is more than enough for either setup, and honestly, the gaming performance between the i5 14600k and the 9600X is quite similar. Plus, going with AM5 will give you future CPU upgrade options since Intel's 14th gen is the last for that socket, leaving you without an upgrade path later on.
I agree with TechWizard99! An AM5 setup is looking good. As for the motherboard, you'll want to get one that's compatible with the AM5 CPU, like the MSI B650. And don’t worry about your RAM; it should work fine with AMD as long as it's DDR5.
