Hey everyone! I'm considering a significant upgrade from my AM4 setup to AM5. I'm looking at a bundle that includes the 7700x CPU, a motherboard, RAM, and a cooler for about $860. Alternatively, I'm thinking of buying the parts separately, possibly opting for a different CPU like the 7800x3d. I'm planning to pair whichever CPU I choose with a 4070 Super and get a 1440p monitor soon to really take advantage of the GPU. I would love to hear some advice from those who are more knowledgeable about these components!

Have you checked what your budget is? Also, where are you buying the parts from? If you're shopping at a place like Microcenter in the U.S., that might change things. But I see you're in Denmark, shopping at Komplett, right? Your budget seems decent around $1000 USD, which is good! If the bundle feels pricey, you might save some bucks going the individual route; just look for deals.
Honestly, $860 feels a bit steep for that bundle. If you look around, you might find the parts cheaper if bought individually. Plus, you don’t need a fancy cooler for those CPUs; something simpler would work just as well. Just ensure to check prices locally, since importing can get pricey!
Totally agree! The prices here in Denmark are pretty wild for PC parts, but I'm surviving. The 9600X looks like a good deal at around $262, compared to the 7700X at about $332, so I'll weigh my options.
Yeah, I'm with you. It'd help to know the prices over there, but even the 9600X is about $450-$500 in the U.S. That's way cheaper than $860 for the bundle. Also, don't forget, even a 7600X could handle gaming just fine without breaking the bank!
