I'm wondering if a GPU like the 5070 can handle both streaming and gaming. Is 12GB of VRAM sufficient for this task? If it isn't, what better options would you recommend?

For sure! I've seen a lot of people streaming with a 4070Ti which has the same 12GB VRAM and NVENC engine. It's definitely doable, just monitor your CPU usage too while streaming!
Absolutely, you can stream and game with a 5070. Just keep in mind that while the GPU plays a role, your CPU is crucial too—especially for overall performance while gaming and streaming simultaneously. If your CPU is decent, you might not even need to rely on the GPU's encoding capabilities. For 1080p gaming or even 1440p at moderate settings, 12GB of VRAM should be plenty!
Thanks for the insight! I’m rocking a Ryzen 5. Should I think about upgrading that as well?
