I'm building a new PC and trying to decide between the RTX 5060 Ti with 16GB and the RTX 5070 with 12GB. My setup will include a Ryzen 7 7800X3D, and I plan to use it for both gaming and Blender. Currently, I have a 1080p monitor, but I'm looking to upgrade to a 1440p monitor soon. Which GPU would be the better choice for my needs?

If you're planning to play at 1440p, go for the RTX 5070. It's definitely going to give you better performance at that resolution compared to the 5060 Ti.
Honestly, the 5060 Ti is fine if you're mainly gaming at 1080p or playing less demanding games at 1440p. But if you're looking for long-term value and better performance in AAA games, the 5070 is the way to go.
The RX 9060 XT is also worth a look if you want to explore alternatives. But between the two you've mentioned, the RTX 5070 will give you better performance, although it does have lower VRAM which might affect its longevity.
I'd seriously recommend getting the RTX 5070 if you can afford it. It offers a noticeable performance boost over the 5060 Ti, especially for gaming and 3D applications.
Consider saving a bit more and aim for an RTX 5070 Ti or even a 9070 XT. They offer more VRAM, which will be beneficial for gaming and other tasks down the line.
True! For higher resolutions and more demanding games, the 5070 definitely outperforms the 5060 Ti. Worth considering future-proofing.
