I'm looking to buy a used gaming PC, mainly for playing games at 1440p. The options I have are either a PC with a 3090 or one with a 5070 Ti. The PC with the 5070 Ti is around 100-200 euros more, and I'm not sure if that extra cost is due to the GPU or other components. The rest of the hardware is quite similar, but the CPU in the 3090 setup is just a bit better. Which one should I go for?

It’s tough to give a definitive answer without all the specs, but generally, the 5070 Ti is a stronger GPU for gaming. If you're mainly into playing at 1440p, I’d suggest leaning towards the 5070 Ti since it handles modern games really well. Always a great choice for performance and efficiency!
The 5070 Ti clearly outperforms the 3090 in most scenarios, especially at 1440p. Plus, it's more efficient and uses less power, which is a bonus. I'd definitely recommend going with that option!
And don’t forget, the 5070 Ti is newer and will get more updates and support going forward.
I own a 3090, but if I had the choice now, I'd pick the 5070 Ti for gaming. It's more future-proofed and delivers great performance for current games. It’s definitely the smart choice if you're gaming primarily at 1440p.
Yeah, and remember that graphics cards like the 5070 Ti usually come with better future support, which is key for upgrading down the line.
