Is it worth swapping a 3070 for a 3070 Ti?

I recently upgraded to a 3090 for my gaming and work PC since I needed the extra VRAM, and I'm thinking about my wife's setup. She has a 3070 and mostly plays casual and visually appealing games like Ori and the Blind Forest, Stardew Valley, and some multiplayer games like REPO and Among Us. Given that there's only a small performance boost—around 5%—between the 3070 Ti and the 3070, I'm wondering if it's really worth the hassle to swap the cards around for just a few extra frames. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this!

Honestly, swapping out a 3070 for a 3070 Ti is more about preference than necessity. The Ti is only about 5% faster and uses more power, which isn't a big deal for casual gamers. For your wife's gaming habits, that slight boost isn't going to make a noticeable difference. Plus, she likely won’t need the extra performance for the games she plays.

That makes sense! I just wanted to get a second opinion. She's really happy with her current setup and doesn't need anything over the top.
