I accidentally deleted my OneDrive folder using a program called Winderstat, and it unintentionally removed all my photos and desktop icons. Now, whenever I try to install OneDrive again, it either says it's not installed or shows an error (0x8004def7). Plus, when I go to the OneDrive website, everything is from last year, which means my computer isn't syncing properly with OneDrive anymore. Is there a way for me to recover my lost files?

It sounds like a rough situation! First off, if you still have OneDrive open, try going into its settings and unlinking your PC, then link it again. If you deleted the files online, you can check the Recycle Bin in your OneDrive account to restore them. But if you turned off backup/sync features, then those files might be lost. You could also use recovery software like EaseUS to try and retrieve them, but definitely stop using your computer to increase your chances of recovery.
